BONA CLASSICSEAL WATERBASED

 Bona ClassicSeal® Water-Based Sealer

Bona ClassicSeal is a crystal-clear waterborne sanding sealer designed to enhance the natural beauty of hardwood floors. It seals the surface to minimize grain raise and tannin bleed, provides a consistent build layer, and prevents finish from penetrating too deeply into the wood. Ideal as a base coat for all Bona waterborne finishes.

Coverage: 500–600 sq. ft. per gallon

Application Notes:

Use Bona ClassicSeal as the sealer coat under Bona Traffic, Traffic Naturale, and Mega finishes (not recommended over stained floors). For best results, abrade with a 320-grit conditioning or maroon pad before applying the first coat of finish.
Do not use a screen—only a maroon/conditioning pad is recommended.

Dry Time & Cure:

Dry to recoat: 2–3 hours

Full cure: 7 days

Avoid foot traffic until the floor is sufficiently dry

Odor & Storage:

Very slight, non-offensive odor

One-year shelf life (unopened container)

Non-flammable – store in a climate-controlled environment

Tools & Cleanup:

Use with a Bona Floor Coater, Roller, or Cut-In Pad

Use separate, clean applicators for sealer and finish

Clean tools with water and store in airtight containers
