Bona Red Out™ Two-Step Color Neutralizer

Bona Red Out™ is a unique, two-step waterborne solution specially formulated to reduce the red and pink tones found in red oak and similar wood species—without harsh chemicals or bleach. It provides a versatile, easy-to-use alternative for achieving a neutral, natural look that enhances the beauty of the wood and complements a wide range of finishes.

Bona Red Out is designed for use prior to staining or sealing and is compatible with the full Bona System®. The product does not require neutralizing or rinsing and helps deliver more consistent color results.

Coverage & Application:

Coverage: Approximately 200–400 sq. ft. per gallon

Apply Step 1 and Step 2 in sequence using a Bona Conditioning Pad, T-bar, or microfiber applicator

No rinsing or neutralization needed

Allow floor to dry completely before sanding or finishing

Drying & Cure Time:

Drying time between steps: Approximately 1 hour

Floor should be completely dry before final prep and finishing

Odor & Storage:

Mild, non-offensive odor

Shelf life: 1 year (unopened container)

Store in a climate-controlled environment

Non-flammable

Tools & Cleanup:

Use Bona Conditioning Pads or clean application tools

Clean tools with water immediately after use

Dispose of any remaining product according to local, state, and federal regulations
